The 2010 Knight of Byron Junior Chess Classic
A one day chess competition for chess players of all standards from 5-18yrs.
Brunswick Heads Community Centre (on the beachfront)
Thursday 15th July
Registration 9am for 9.30am start. Prize giving 2.30pm
Prizes: include trophies, medals, books, and/or chess equipment in age group divisions plus random and encouragement prizes.
Format: 7-8 rounds using the Swiss Perfect computer program. All players play every round. It is NOT a knockout competition. Clocks may be used on some boards (15mins per player).
Results will be forwarded for the Queensland Junior rating list.
A basic canteen will operate at lunchtime with sandwiches, juice, etc.
Entry fee $15
